Thanks Nick.  While it's true that most of my 3rd &
4th cousins died in Europe and their family records
were destroyed, there remain hints.  I spoke with
Sergey and his father about our shared name.  It is
rare enough in the part of western Russia that both
families came from that we think it very likely we're
related at the 5th or so cousin level.

Not that it matters much.  But kinda cool.
