Clearly, the American government's faults are very minor in comparison.
But, if the American people chose straight shooters who disagreed with them
on some issues over folks who mouth pleasant fictions more often, we'd have
a better government.

This is one of the reasons why I would love for Kerry to pick John McClain as his running mate. I disagree with McClain on many subjects, but I trust him to be honest and tell the truth. I can't say that about too many politicians.
