        I just meant the regular L.A. Law characters.  : )
I don't know if they have space elevators, the show brings 
in technology only as needed.  They have made serious progress
in biotechnology, and some in nanotechnology.  And who knows 
how they project holograms onto thin air!
        (One of the few problems I have noticed is with the
"Susan Dey" character.  She must have been born too close to
the present day for her enhancements to be plausible.)
