Oh, except for special sessions.

We had, what, 2 of those already?  And they're calling another one.

So this may be the most-exposed group of Texas politicians in a long
time.  >:)

But sometimes it's just to Oklahoma, which isn't my idea of a wonderful
escape.  (Although it does get you out of reach of DPS....)

p.s. the guy who spent less in one of the most expensive primary
elections won yesterday over the guy who spent over $3 million -- they
were doing a 'per vote' breakdown and the guy who spent more was
basically paying $429 a vote, not that it helped him....
