According to reports these are private cameras which are very common among U.S. soldiers. There may have been some psychological embarassment of the prisoners going on as well. Knowing the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld gang they will likely solve the problem by banning cameras for servicemen like they have already banned pictures of dead Americans and coffins.
