I don't have any specific ties or allegiances to emergency services, but
this just outright pisses me off.  Just watching the attack on TV left
me stunned and dazed. I can't imagine how it would have been to actually
have been there as an emergency response worker.

I don't see how anything of that scope and magnitude could have been
foreseen in the training scenarios that they had before Sept 11th.
Certainly there is room for improvement in how they responded, but the
harsh words of criticism were uncalled for.

The harsh criticism should go straight to the 9/11 Panel for being
complete pinheads.

9/11 Panel Scolds Ex-Police, Fire Chiefs

lionized after the World Trade Center attack came under harsh criticism
Tuesday from the Sept. 11 commission, with one member saying the
departments' lack of cooperation was scandalous and "not worthy of the
