Incidentally, counting inclusively, 6 June 2004 is the 1000th day
after 2001 September 11.
On that day, US President George W. Bush, British Prime Minister Tony
Blair, Russian President Vladimir Putin, French President Jacques
Chirac, and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder will all be in France
on the coast of Normandy to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the
Allied landings of World War II.
As far as I know, heads of government seldom announce so long ahead of
time that they are gathering together. The assembly is an inviting
target for those who oppose them.
However, their security know this, too. The heads of state will be
well guarded, so I do not expect an attack against them.
