My daughter has moderate to severe ADHD and I can tell you, without
doing an expensive scientific study, that food definitely *does* affect
her behavior.

Not so much sugar as other types of additives. Most notably is peanut
butter. She eats a PB sandwich and she is bouncing off of the walls. But
yet, I give her a sandwich made from natural peanut butter that contains
nothing but peanuts, and she is fine. Also foods that have MSG in them
tend to set her off. Eating at a Chinese restaurant where they tend to
overuse MSG is disastrous every single time.
