Samuel Clemons was in the second book "The Fabulous Riverboat". I was one of those who rated the book so high. I loved it. But I'm not sure I can tell you exactly why. It's got a very interesting concept, a great setting, a great mystery (who built the River World and why?). Plus the fact that you, the reader, know you are there somewhere... I'll admit it does go downhill alot as the series goes one. The second is probably the best. - jmh _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
