Yes, I wasn't suggesting it was that human behaviour was illogical, just that it is not always logical, and that trying to apply the rules of logic to how people may react, particularly in regard to emotive issues, such as patriotism and religion, is fraught with danger. I have visted Erik's website, and enjoyed it, especially the Dilbert quotes. As you correctly note, I was being sarcastic, but I am not afraid of leading with my chin. Sometimes a good slap in the chops can be very educational. And, well, giving the tone Erik tends to adopt, I thought he might enjoy it. Andrew
