I kept waiting for him to go to a radical extreme. That is certainly
the impression I have had about him in the past. But I was pleasantly
surprised.
He didn't seem to have been restrained or limited, but spoke with a
heaping load of passion.
That kind of passion is what I watch the conventions to see.
What are the candidates and their spokespersons passionate about?
What arouses the passion of the delegate crowds?
What will be said that arouses *my* passions?

Regretfully, I missed the first night of the convention, but since
then have heard some rousing speeches from several people and have
been impressed with some who I knew little of.

I'm interested to see if the Republican convention will be as good.
