Folks,

With every passing day that he tries, as Bill Maher said this
week, to "turn the worst thing that ever happened to us into the
best thing that ever happened to him," George Bush reveals deeper
and deeper ignorance of the nature of the conflict in which we
find ourselves. He continues to talk about defeating world
terrorism as if terrorism were the enemy.

Even Pat Buchanan, for whom I have only slightly more use than
Bush and Rush, knows terrorism isn't the enemy here. Terrorism is
a tactic used by a large and varied number of our enemies. To
talk of defeating terrorism is something akin to saying you'll
defeat all languages or all cultures or all technologies. Or all
        civil disobedience, come to that.

But wait... there's more: <http://eclecticity.com/.3c48a1ed>
