Because it's easier to condemn a high profile
organization like the Catholic Church than to condemn
individuals.

The real question that should be asked is what is the
rate of incidence amongst catholic priests, and how
does this compare to the population at large? His
numbers look impressive -- perhaps even damning -- but
don't reflect any analysis IMHO, at least from the
information presented.
