But I think one of the reasons that the Yankees do so well is that can swallow the costs of their mistakes (Louiza) or replace a downed player with somoene of quality (Olerud). One of the things I remember you pointing out is that bunting is bad and yet Torre uses the bunt all the time, he even has Jeter bunt.
