Hi guys, I need to lean on you for research help again. I recall reading, in the relatively recent past, a study that said that the reason people don't go into the hard sciences is because, in economic terms, it sucks. You spend years in poverty as a grad student, then a post-grad which is little better. Or you can go to the private sector and make decent money right away. Does anyone remember this study or reports on it? I'm trying to find it but not having any luck. Thanks.
