You are confusing "justified" with "wise." Kerry explicitly said that
the brutality of the dictator alone is not sufficient for justification.
Of course, you also managed to duck the fact that this 1997 transcript
contradicts most everything Kerry has had to say about Iraq for the past
year. Indeed, on this transcript, it sounds like he is defending the Bush
Administration's current foreign policy. You may notice that Kerry is
explicitly considering in this transcript the possibility of having to go
it alone - no matter what France and China think of us.
