Being a good

And why is it that the first Gulf War, with a gold-plated UN Security
Council endorsement and a vast coalition did not pass this "global test?"
And why is it that 15 months of discussion does not constitute "real
dialogue"? Why is it that a unanimous UN Security Council resolution,
1441, does not consittute "real negotiation"? And why is the active
participation of at least 21 out of 30 US allies, "bullying"? Was the UK
bullied? Australia? Japan? Poland? Spain? Portugal? Vaclev
Havel and the Czech Republic? Were we bad neighbors to these countries?
Or is being a bad neighbor *really* about simply failing to convince France
- a nation that was proposing in the UN Security Council to eliminate
sanctions and inspections on Iraq alltogether just a few years ago, even as
Iraq was shooting at US and UK pilots in the no-fly zone, that those
sanctions and inspections needed to be toughened up with real authority
behind them?
When you talk about the international community - are you talking about the
community of US allies? the community of nations including all dictators
and totalitarian oppressors? or are you really just talking about France?

Out of curiosity, do you believe that Colin Powell was, "lying through his
teeth" when he went to the UN Security Council?

Is this really an accurate description of the thoughts of Tony Blair, John
Howard, Jose Maria Aznar, Edmund Stoiber, Fogh Rasmussen, Jonichuro Koizumi
and why they led (or would have led) their nations into the Iraq coaltion
over popular opposition - gratitude for what we did in the past? Or is it
that they truly believed it was the correct strategic decision?
