This doesn't change the meaning of what he said at
all, Nick.  "if we can do the work that we can do in
this country -- the work we will do when John Keery is
President -- people like Christopher Reeve are going
to walk.  Get up out of that wheelchair and walk
again."  It doesn't change it at all.  It's just
contemptible.  A man like Edwards who has displayed
his contempt for scientific medicine in his entire
career is now prostituting a mythical version of it to
further his own ambitions at the cost of creating
false hope for the disabled.  It's nothing short of vile.
