That can be a problem, yes.  :)

As far as cars go, I think that acceleration is more important than top
speed.  Pulling ahead and reaching 37 before anyone else, so as to be
able to make a lane change more easily in a 45MPH zone can be very
useful.  (Guess what I used to do on a regular basis at a particular
intersection?)

And our non-SUV vehicles are pretty good in that department.  :)
