Given a 33% probability of a person with a graduate degree who is not on Brin-L voting for Bush, there is only a 2% chance that none of 10 people who are randomly sampled from voters in the '04 presidential election will have voted for Bush. I presume you know more than 10 people outside of Brin-L who have graduate degrees. So, I'm guessing that your sampling has some bias.** Otherwise, one would have to conclude that far fewer than a third of those with graduate degrees will vote for Bush.
