Yes.

Yes.
It just proves one thing. Secrecy + FEAR + HATE = Election Winners.
Openess + Courage = Election Losers.

It's because Religion is a parasitic disease. A parasitic disease that
is perfectly willing to damage or kill it's host as much as neccessary to
spread itself. It's like fighting the flu. The Flu in all it's 400 some
strains is the fastest evolving organism. We literally can't create new
vaccines fast enough to even have a remote chance wiping the flu out.
It's not the people, it's the disease. It's amazing how progressive a
person becomes when you get the Religion out of them. I've seen it many
times.
It's borne out by the statistics of what republicans believe. 70+%
Belive Saddam was involved with 9/11. 60+% Believe we found WMD in Iraq.
50+% Believe Saddam had a close relationship with Al Qaida.
How many of them get their news from Fox, NewsMax, And The Sludge
Distort? They are even _MORE_ trapped in their own echo chambers, than
we were in the Weblogs. We tended to belive things that were factually
TRUE. They tended to believe things that were factually FALSE.
And that is the difference.
