Well, the conservative one is probably the one who
understands that we have real enemies and need to
protect ourselves from them, instead of adopting the
posture of the ostrich and pretending that the problem
is people who are willing to stand up to evil instead
of those who wish to do it.
Yep. Going after Osama Bin Laden was the conservative
choice, recognizing and responding to a demonstrated
enemy. But that proved to be too hard, because he is
a slippery guy. Meanwhile, new enemies proliferate and
find justification for their animosity in a provocative
and unwinnable "war on terror," being waged in an
unrelated county.
