Very good, thanks. The sample size for the CDC report is much larger -- 60K or so -- while Barna's is only 3600.

That would *partially* explain the evident discrepancy. Also it seems Barna's objective was to specifically collect data on marriage, divorce and religion, while the CDC seemed to pull from several already-available sources, which would tend to reduce pre-selection of respondents.
I hadn't even been aware that the CDC collected data on *marriage* ... oh well! So much for self-satisfied atheistic chortlings. ;)
