There's not much to be said after a debacle like last week, so I won't.... ;-)

Tennessee at Jacksonville - The Jaguars are on an unbelievable run. After
giving up not one, but two punt return TD's in the final minutes to nearly
blow the game, the score a TD in overtime to secure the win. The Titans
meanwhile became just the second team in NFL history to lose in overtime on
a Safety - at home to the bears no less! The Tians are likely without
Chris Brown this week, so I guess that I'll go with the lucky ones. Pick:
JAGUARS

NY Jets at Cleveland - It is one of the great injustices in the world that
the NY Jets are perhaps the only team in the NFL that has truly mastered
clock management, and have been skewered all week by the remaining 99% of
the football world that just doesn't get clock management thanks to a
screw-up in communication, not in their mastery of the clock. Pick: JETS

Dallas at Baltimore - If Kyle Boller keeps throwing like he did last week,
I may have to stop knocking Baltimore's offense. Pick: RAVENS

Detroit at Minnesota - The Vikings are getting desperate for a win, and
after last week, "Heisman" Joey Harrington may be in danger of sending
Detroit on a QB search after the season. Pick: VIKINGS

Denver at New Orleans - Well, so much for the Saints having mailed in the
season. Clearly the Chiefs defense just isn't coming together. The
Broncos' defense doesn't seem to have that problem. Pick: BRONCOS

St. Louis at Buffalo - For the first time in four home games, it looks like
the Bills will be playing in relatively mild weather- which is a shame with
the pass-happy Rams in town. Still, while the Bills have been a
completely different team at home this season, either Torry Holt or Isaac
Bruce should make Terrence McGee look like burnt toast again this week.
Pick: RAMS

San Francisco at Tampa Bay - Its a shame when teams that never had much to
begin with start losing players to injuries- like both starting CB's.
Pick: BUCS

Indianapolis at Chicago - What kind of alternate universe is this where
rookie QB's are 7-0 this season, including 3-0 from late-round pick Craig
Krenzel? Of course 17 of Chicago's 19 winning points last week were from
an INT return for a TD, a punt return for a TD, and a safety... which will
not be enough to even keep close with Peyton Manning. Pick: COLTS

Arizona at Carolina - Speaking of the injury-ravaged, its hard not to feel
sorry for the defending NFC Champion Panthers. Pick: CARDINALS

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati - Very quietly, the Cincinnati Bengals have
started playing much better on defense... and they have always had the
offensive weapons to win. This looks like a spoiler for Roethlisberger's
first homecoming. Pick: BENGALS UPSET SPECIAL

San Diego at Oakland - Hard to believe, but Drew Brees to Antonio Gates is
for real. Pick: CHARGERS

Miami at Seattle - Is there any reason left to pick the Fish ever again
this year? Pick: SEAHAWKS

Atlanta at NY Giants - Perhaps some day someone will explain to me the
logic of placing your rookie, top-of-the-draft QB in his first NFL start
behind one of the worst offensive lines in football playing against one of
the best defensive lines in football. Atlanta might get 10 sacks in this
one. Pick: FALCONS

Washington at Philadelphia - For my money, the Eagles remain the best team
in football. Pick: EAGLES

Green Bay at Houston - After some early struggles, the Packers are again
playing like a team that is returning all of their offensive starters from
last season.... and the Texans burnt me big time last week. Pick: PACKERS

New England at Kansas City - Time for me to officially jump off of the
Chiefs' bandwagon with Priest Holmes out indefinitely, a loss to one of the
worst teams in football last week, and the playoffs now merely a distanta
dream. Pick: PATRIOTS
