you might have seen it as directly indicative of you, when I was simply trying to insert a sprinkling of my own brand of self-deprecating humor into the mix. So again, sorry.
My mimicry of your original statement aside, yes, I thought that you were being, 'directly contradictory', with what you said. Consequently I fired back some playful banter (in other words - I'm genuinely benevolent unless stated otherwise).
As an aside to this, does anybody in a managerial position here on the list know what happened to another post of mine in this thread? It seems to have disappeared...
