I like little snakes. I don't trust big snakes. When they put in the fence around our yard, there were rattlers in the area being fenced in. (They don't come up to the house, at any rate, and hiring professionals to clear out the dead brush regularly helps a lot.) If there's a big snake close to the house, I want to deal with it using the method that keeps me as far away from it as possible. (Such as having someone else deal with it.)
