I don't see how you are reading that as defense of Ramsey Clark. I asked if the fact that he's defending Saddam Hussein proves that he is a bad person. If it is true, then he is a bad person. If it is not true, then it doesn't prove anything, since it only means that defending Saddam does not make a person necessarily bad. I don't see how the fact that he's chosen to defend genocidal dictators proves his goodness or badness one way or the other. If he's only doing these things in order to have a platform to attack the administration's policies, without really defending Saddam, then I have no problem considering that to be bad. If he's doing it out of a sense of fairness for all people, seeking justice for those whom seem to least deserve it, then he may be doing a good thing.
