Actually, the "top secret project" was a train.  A small tractor for the 
engine and I think something like 4 cars that would each hold 2 people, 
and it saved some people some walking around at a festival.

Not that anyone was begging to find out, but just in case anyone had been 
wondering and that bit of unresolved whatever was nibbling at them, I 
figured I'd share.  :)

oh, and if you're ever building a portable geodesic dome with a PVC frame, 
stake the tarps directly to the ground if there's bad weather predicted -- 
you don't want a 70-mph gust of wind grabbing a tarp and taking the rest 
of the dome with it as well (not that that happened, but some slower gusts 
caused great concern, so that dome had its tarps re-secured for the 
predicted storm the next night, which ended up hitting to the north).
