I'm at least as disturbed by this as you are, but it's a bit of a leap to go from ID-iocy to to suggesting that the reason there's so much prison rape is religion. Not that I expect you to see that it's such a leap;

It's perfectly obvious; no leaping (or levitating) required. A country riddled with primitive superstition is bound to show an equal lack of advancement in other areas.
