Yeah, of course -- you expect struggles to be vague and ill-defined, have tenuous goals, go on forever and probably be unwinnable. And it might help recruitment in the armed forces; parents who aren't comfortable sending their kids off to war might not mind as much thinking they'll just be struggling a little.

What I'm wondering is why we still have anyone held in Guantanamo. Presumably there's *really* no legal justification for holding "prisoners of struggle".
