Please understand. The arguement may seem relatively innocuous but it the
same arguement that has been used in the past. Each time it may seem reasonable
but it has always been untrue. There was no conspiracy of Jewish Bankers to
control the world. There is no control by Neocons (jews) of US policy. You may
think that I and other jews see anti-semitism where none exists but I would
counter that anti-semitism is so ingrained in Western culture and thought that
it
is difficult for most christians to see when they engage in it. They don't
grant jews the same rights as others. The Palestinians are victims of the jews.
Doesn't it seem a bit too easy? Don't you get it? Christians have always blame
the jews? So every time this happens christians try to rationalize it by
saying things like they don't hate jews they just don't like Israel. Because
of
course chirsitians have totally expunged anti-semitism have nearly two
milleinia; easy as pie. Let me give you one simple and stark example of "gee I
am not
an anti-semite" Near the end of WWII jewish leaders pleaded with the allies to
bomb Auschvitz to prevent further slaughter. But the US military refused to
do this. They made all sorts of excuses. Bottom line they would not lift a
finger to save some jews.

As to the arguement that US tilts too much towards Israel. Lets examine this.
What would have been fair treatment of the palastinians. We brokered a deal
to give them most of what they wanted but Arafat rejected this. Israel fought 3
wars with the Arabs but started none of them. Israel would have given back
virtually all of the occuppied territories in 67 if the arabs would have
recognized their right to exist. The rest of the arab countries did nothing to
resolve this problem. So lets get real here.
