Really, check it out....) the fact remains that NeoDarwinism is poor science posing as good science. As such, it is impairing efforts to ask the really hard questions. It's become insipid dogma and mind-numbing meme. The Catholic church does everything for a reason. I can't think that the reason is to *take on the neo-lib establishment*. My best guess is that Jesuit Spies (who ARE everywhere, by the way) tipped the Pope off to some impending speciation research. I'll bet the Church is merely garnering a little pre-emptive theological high ground. No biggie...
