A couple of bloggers have fun spoofing Magic: The Gathering with Katrina-related cards.

They created a card from one of my suggestions:

Which one was yours?

That was a good one.

The fact that Gore tried to keep a low profile on the whole thing speaks a lot to his character.

I also tried suggesting "Oil Spill" as a disaster from these sources:

But for some reason it got flagged as 'spam'.

hoping that either they get everyone out of the Astrodome OR the Astrodome doesn't leak, or both!

Haven't you been paying attention for the last few weeks?

I've been paying SOME attention, anyway, but not much since a day or two after Labor Day. Have they gotten all the Superdome evacuees out of the Astrodome yet? With Rita bearing down on the area, to go from one dome leaking in a hurricane to another dome that, not too long after, leaks in a hurricane, would be rather depressing.

As far as the Superdome goes, I learned from the Katrina: The Gathering site that Interdictor reported that there were a few people refusing to leave the Superdome. (Was that the only card with "Insane Citizens"? I think it was....)

keeping my domes straight, really
