How long are the chapters?

Pretty good size. Ussually between twenty and forty pages or more.
The later book Prologues can be up to an hundred pages or more
(ussually 5 - 10 differnt POV's).

Don't judge a Robert Jordan book by it's cover -- Literally. Only the
first one has decent art, the rest are terrible and misleading, and
sometimes are scenes that don't actually occur in any of the books.
And even though they have similar numbers of pages, the last four books
have only 3/5 to 4/5 of the number of words as the first seven books.

Only the first one was a decent book. The second few were just OK and those following went downhill after that - to the point that I threw the last one I read (6 or 7)accross the room midway through and have felt no desire to go near one since.

Jorden is obviously milking it for all its worth, stretching a story that should have ended at book three or four well beyond its logical conclusion.

You'll thank yourself if you read Wheel of Time and pretend that there aren't any more books in the series.
