Cool link! Thanks, Dave. This is one of those futuristic things that I'd buy just to see how it works, if I had the extra dough lying around. Virtual keyboards definitely have a novelty factor going for them. But I wonder about some things. The press release says that it's "ideal for well-lit offices," but how could you see the projected keys in a bright environment? A darkened office would probably be the best place to type. And what if the beam reflects off the face of your watch or something? That could really screw up the projection and throw off your typing speed. And if the whole thing is virtual, you should be able to reconfigure your keyboard into different styles like left and right handed Dvorak, or foreign setups. And a power cord for PC use wouldn't hurt either. Anyway, it sounds novel and interesting. I hope they sell a few of them so they can develop the concept further.
