The list has been down for a while -- I woke up to a dying router this morning. Bought a new one this morning (a great thing about living in Silicon Valley -- it's possible to buy a router Sunday morning) and could not, for the life of me, persuade it to do any kind of port forwarding, so I couldn't enable any sort of reasonable security. Exchanged that one for the one that's carrying these bits, which, if you're reading this message, is working.
Some messages may have been delayed, but nothing should have been lost. Meanwhile, we're trying out a dog! We fell in love with my sister-in-law's Maltese over the holidays and started looking for one. On Craig's List, found one looking for a new home and so he spent last night with us. Today, we'll find out what his current owners have invested in him. I'm somewhat dreading hearing the answer because Maltese tend to be pricey... and sort of deserve it, since they have few, small litters and are wonderful little doggies.
