DDO? Dungeons and Dragons Online? Or was this a typo and you meant to say DoD, Day of Defeat

Dungeons and Dragons Online. It's tempting to try it, since I don't
have time to play live P&P D&D right now, but I have to think about
it a little more. Has anyone tried it out?

Dan was in an online campaign with a friend of ours doing DM'ing, all the players were friends of *his*; the campaign died when one of the players did. :( (One of the other guys, who'd been that guy's best friend for years, didn't have the heart to continue, and the remaining players couldn't pull it off all that well without them.)

Brian got Dan set up with a number of good tools for handling online play, and it was working really well for them -- pick a time about every other week when everyone could dedicate about 3 hours to it, play, don't have the hassle of GOING somewhere and dealing with someone else's cats and forgetting one of your books and....

(Dan got spoiled by the telecommuting bit well before this.)
