I guess I'm as regular as anyone on the list....probably my daily salad at lunch...but anyways. I'm 52, married with 3+2 children. I'm a consultant in the energy business, with a focus in nuclear measurements in oilfield boreholes and coal mines. I have a Phd in physics, a BA in philosophy, and have minored in the philosophy of science in grad. school. My natural children are Amy, who's 26 and an associate pastor in Virginia; Beth, who's 22 and just graduated college with a degree in music ed., and Ted who's 19 and a sophomore at N. Texas. My two extra children are Nellie, who's my Zambian daughter. She bonded with Amy over Buffy the Vampire Slayer when Amy was in Africa...and came over to the US to go to school at Amy's university. We are her American family. She's a Summers-Minette with an upgrade: she's volunteers for chores and she satisfies all of your diversity needs. :-) Dawn is our other extra daughter...her mom threw her out of the house when she was a teenager...and we took her for about a year and a half. My wife lives in Austin during the school year, going to seminary. I live in the Woodlands, just north of Houston. I play chess, and play golf some.
