Washington at Philadelphia - Desperation time for the Eagles and Redskins, who have both blown more games than they expected so far this year. I'll give the edge to the home team, and the more talented QB at this stage of their careers. Pick: EAGLES San Diego at Cincinnati - Despite the gaudy record, San Diego hasn't really played that tough a schedule yet, and I'm still convinced that the Bengals are a good team. Pick: BENGALS San Francisco at Detroit - The 49ers have gone down 41-0 on their past two road games, it won't happen again, I don't think, but they won't win either. Pick: LIONS Baltimore at Tennessee - Steve McNair is going to be desperate to beat his old team in this one. Pick: RAVENS Buffalo at Indianapolis - Lock of the week.. About the only hope the Bills have is for the Colts to have a letdown after two huge road wins.. But then I stopped dreaming. Pick: COLTS Houston at Jacksonville - The Texans have already beat them once, but I'm not sure that I can see it happening again. Pick: JAGUARS Kansas City at Miami - The Chiefs are suddenly becoming a very legitimate playoff team, even without Trent Green. Pick: CHIEFS Green Bay at Minnesota - Bret Favre has just never liked playing in a dome. Pick: VIKINGS NY Jets at New England - The Patriots will essentially lock up the AFC East in this one. Pick: PATRIOTS Denver at Oakland - Perhaps the worst offense against perhaps the best defense. This could get ugly. Pick: BRONCOS Dallas at Arizona - The Cowboys got robbed last week in another freak ending in Washington, it will be interesting to see how they bounce back from this one.. Pick: COWBOYS New Orleans at Pittsburgh - Despite all appearances, they're still the defending champs. Pick: STEELERS St. Louis at Seattle - With no Hasselbeck and no Alexander the Seahawks unfortunately don't have a "bye" against the Raiders this week either, and the Rams have played them extremely tough the last few years. Pick: RAMS UPSET SPECIAL Chicago at NY Giants - The only team with perhaps more injuries than Seattle is the NY Giants, which makes this game not what it was expected to be in more ways than one. Pick: BEARS Tampa Bay at Carolina - The Panthers' margin of error as a potential Super Bowl team is closing, they can't afford to blow this one.
