Yep. That was a mistake - there are sites and programs which you can use to create an email address active ONLY for x emails. For the rest, I run my own domain for quite a few reasons. (Any old timers might remember I offered @upliftwar.com emails, that still stands). I personally chose to do my spam filtering client side, and Pegasus Mail now has an inbuilt baesian filter as well as the powerful rules- based filtering it's had for some time.
