Happy Thanksgiving! Miami at Detroit - Joey Harrington returns to the scene of the crime.. I'll give the nod to the former first-rounder for the Lions. Detroit, after all, just lost to Arizona. Pick: DOLPHINS Tampa Bay at Dallas - Tony Romo is the best undrafted NFL QB since.. well, since Kurt Warner... He's making me a believer, though. Pick: COWBOYS Denver at Kansas City - The Broncos have to go from an absolutely huge Sunday night division game to... an absolutely huge division game in Arrowhead on four days' rest. I don't envy them, especially since Jake Plummer may be playing for his job. Pick: CHIEFS
Pittsburgh at Baltimore - The Steelers always have had Baltimore's number, but something is truly wrong with Ben Roethlisberger this year, and I'm finally being forced to admit that the Ravens are simply clicking in all phases right now.. Pick: RAVENS Cincinnati at Cleveland - The poor Browns have lost their top three CB's, and now have to run into the red hot Bengals' offense that is fighting for their lives. The Bengals can't play defense either, but against the Browns, they should be just good enough. Pick: BENGALS San Francisco at St. Louis - Somehow the 49ers have won three in a row to get to 5-5. This can't possibly last forever. Pick: RAMS Arizona at Minnesota - Poor Vikings fans must be pulling the hair out. After winning on the road in Seattle, they've since dropped four straight. The Cardinals, though, are medicine for all ills. Pick: VIKINGS Houston at NY Jets - I have to admit, I have little idea about this game.. the Texans have somehow swept the Jaguars and at the same time made JP Losman look like an NFL QB. When in doubt, though, I have to go in favor of the team that just got shut out at home, trying to redeem itself. Pick: JETS New Orleans at Atlanta - I've been getting burned by the Falcons all year, but this week they're getting a lot of players back from injury. Pick: FALCONS Carolina at Washington - The Panthers are finally looking like the Super Bowl contender that everyone thought that they'd be. The Redskins, alas, are not. Pick: PANTHERS Jacksonville at Buffalo - I just can't believe that JP Losman will turn in a second good game in a row. Pick: JAGUARS Oakland at San Diego - Certainly a possible let-down game for the Chargers after the huge win and getting stuffed with turkey on Thursday, but.. Nahhh.. Pick: CHARGERS NY Giants at Tennessee - The Giants have so many injuries its almost unfair. Meanwhile, Jeff Fisher has quietly been demonstrating why he's a really good coach. The Eagles were out of the game against the Titans even before Donovan McNabb got hurt last week. Pick: TITANS UPSET SPECIAL Chicago at New England - Great job by the Bears in winning two-in-a-row at the New Jersey Meadowlands, but winning a third straight road game is a tall order for even the best teams. For Rex Grossman against Bill Belichick, though, its downright daunting. Pick: PATRIOTS Philadelphia at Indianapolis - At 5-5 and with Donovan McNabb hurt, this season has become really disappointing for the Eagles. And they're not about to run the ball at the Colts' weak run defense either. Pick: COLTS Green Bay at Seattle - Mike Holmgren against Brett Favre... I'll go with the Coach.
