I don't know if he got one, but we sure did! I spent the week reading &
replying to a mailing list full of mommies homebound with children.
Then once stuff was melted enough for there to actually be *school*, I
had to take one kiddo to the doctor for an ear infection that didn't
really hit the radar of "uh, oh, gotta get this kid to the doctor" until
late in the afternoon of the last ice-free day. :P (We went through a
lot of Motrin in the in-between time, poor kid. On the bright side, it
was the first ear infection since she'd gotten ear tubes more than 2
years ago.)

A couple of people I know in Albuquerque have been going through a more
limited version of that, and I've been getting the blow-by-blow (so to
speak) and I know it's just. not. fun.
