Hey, _this_ week we're going to get more sub-freezing
temps, and the _other_ neighbor's plow's hydraulic
system blew; until those are fixed, I'll once again be
stuck in the (admittedly beautiful!) mountains...

Yep, a brother who lives there is in snow-shock
(although their dogs are delighted).

*There was an interesting program on PBS about Arctic
explorers and the necessity of learning from the Inuit
to survive; one expedition apparently perished to the
last man, with a ship ice-bound and no way home.
