And humans cannot digest milk products. This can, or so I'm told, easily be proven if you conduct your research in China. Perhaps they checked cats whose family trees converge towards same saber tooth tiger which didn't care about sugar, but a lot about reproducing it's genetic material. It's also proven that cats won't eat more than it would be good for them. That's why there are no fat cats.
