isn't it ironic this is being discussed in - Killer Bs Discussion? several weeks ago i was replenishing my store of honey at the local farmer's market her in santa monica. i mentioned the problem as i was making my purchase and was told that famers have been substituting corn syrup (sucrose) to feed the bees so they could increase their yield. i wonder if this could be part of the reason bees are dying...
