I was catching up on season two of _Prison Break_ tonight and noticed
Sarah Tancredi visiting her father's grave which had the death date
in 2005. This is interesting because _Prison Break_ started in the
‘now’ in 2005 and the first season was close to a day of story time
per episode. Season two (when her father died) which started airing
in 2006 continued immediately from the cliffhanger end of season one
and is still running close to a day per episode - so it's now 2007
but the story is still in 2005. Now they have to start making sure
new model cars and other anachronisms don't appear in scenes.

Lost is even more retarded :) Since that plane crashed in 2004 less
than three months has passed in story time. With three more 16-ep
series to go until 2009/10 Claire will still have a newborn baby, Sun
will still be pregnant and Hurley will still be overweight...

Veronica Mars may be renewed with the premise that it skips forward
from college to where she is an FBI trainee - so it might be set in
the future!

Of course Alias was a year in the future after Sidney's amnesia...

Battlestar managed to jump a year in a single scene with less issues...
