Ahh, but as Julia pointed out, metric mismatches can be fatal. But that's physics. Only the most obtuse of the fundies deny it. The problem lies in the future technologies that will develop from things such as genetic engineering, stem cell work and molecular biology. In a nation so ass-backward as to attribute life to the fiat of a deity some ten thousand years ago, there is simply no way for these technologies to flourish. The US is doomed to be a backwater of ignorant, pugnacious asses who simply will not allow themselves to progress. With luck we'll have gutted ourselves economically and militarily BEFORE we're able to completely ignite world war three. -- Warren Ockrassa Blog | http://indigestible.nightwares.com/ Books | http://books.nightwares.com/ Web | http://www.nightwares.com/ _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
