I'm not usually this sarcastic, but I guess it is a bit irksome when
someone accuses me of having a total lack of logic just because
I differ with them....since it is a significant part of my professional
training and day to day work and all.

i don't think you are sarcastic, as much as sardonic, which
is midway between sarcasm and irony. i can see how it may
provoke someone to respond emotionally, but you often are
able to pre-empt that by inserting a smiley face. it works
with me, anyway!~)
it is interesting to observe the dynamics of human interaction.
here; there is a significant amount of oneupmanship, and even
condescension that takes place in online forums such as the
brinlist.
