I won't speak for Robert, but offhand I would nominate pretty much every
telco and media company. The U.S. has telephone service that is rapidly
becoming *worse* than Third-world as the telcos desperately hang on to
their monopoly by blocking every advance they can. And the media
companies have been trying to stop progress since at least the time Jack
Valenti was frothing at the mouth over how VCRs would mean the death of
Hollywood. The DMCA is one giant bit of technological hindrance.
