I've said it before, the list is a poorer place without people like Gautam on it. While I didn't always agree with him, his arguments were always well thought out and well explained. Some of them were good enough to (gasp) change my thoughts on certain issues. That's why I subscribed to Brin-L in the first place -- for the different views on subjects that I wasn't getting anywhere else.
